How to Report a Furniture Issue: The Information We'll Need

If you've noticed an issue with your furniture, we're here to help. Providing a few clear photos and a short video allows our Customer Care team to assess your query quickly and accurately, helping us resolve your issue as efficiently as possible.

Whether your furniture has arrived with damage, you've noticed a manufacturing issue, or something doesn't seem quite right, following the guide below will ensure we have everything we need to get started.

1. Take an Overall Photo of the Furniture

Please begin by taking a clear photograph showing the entire piece of furniture.

This helps us:

  • Identify the product and its configuration.
  • See the issue in context.
  • Assess the overall condition of the furniture.

Try to take the photo in good natural light where possible.

2. Take a Close-Up of the Area You're Concerned About

Next, take a close-up photograph of the specific area where you've noticed the problem.

This allows our team to inspect details such as:

  • Fabric imperfections
  • Marks or scratches
  • Frame or structural issues

If possible, take the photo from a couple of different angles.

3. Photograph the Product Label

Please also send us a photograph of the product label, which is usually located underneath the furniture.

The product label helps us identify:

  • The exact model
  • Manufacturing details
  • Batch information

This information enables us to investigate your enquiry with the manufacturer much more quickly.

4. Record a Short Video (30–60 Seconds)

A short video is often the quickest way for us to understand what's happening.

Your video should include:

  • The entire piece of furniture.
  • A close-up of the area you're concerned about.
  • A demonstration of the issue where possible.
  • A brief explanation while recording so we can understand exactly what you're experiencing.

Sharing this on video allows our team to assess the issue far more accurately than photographs alone.

Why We Ask for Photos and Video

The more information we receive at the beginning of your enquiry, the faster we can:

  • Assess the issue.
  • Determine whether additional information is required.
  • Discuss the matter with our manufacturing partners if needed.
  • Recommend the most appropriate solution.
  • Reduce delays and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth emails.

In many cases, providing clear photos and a short video allows us to begin resolving your enquiry immediately.
