What a way to start the year. January brought the arrival of beautiful Elijah, a new member of our family born on the 4th, instantly making it a very special beginning to 2024. Georgina and Paul were over the moon, and his arrival couldn’t have been a more perfect way to kick things off.
It was also a standout year for our collections, with bestsellers including Bugsby, Hartington, and Albert continuing to be firm favourites with more than 1,500 sold! Alongside these, we introduced a host of new designs: Darcey, Moorland, Benji, Pudding, Mayfair, Oskar Italia, Theodore, and Armitage, to name just a few. You asked for more choice, and of course, we delivered.
In March, our Aviator collection landed, a striking new range with an unmistakably cool edge, bringing industrial character and statement style into the home.
Throughout the year, we expanded our materials and finishes too. Our leather offering grew to include beautifully crafted saddle leather, buttery-soft cognac leather, and rich chocolate leather, while our fabric collection welcomed Olive Derwent Chenille, Sunshine Velvet, Eddy Velvet, and the wonderfully vibrant Trinity Velvet, adding even more colour, texture, and personality.
We also broadened our interiors offering, expanding our accessories range with unique pieces designed and curated by us, alongside new cabinet, dining, and bedroom collections - bold, distinctive finds we hope you’ll love as much as we do.
There were also some incredible personal moments along the way. In August, we created a leopard-print wonderland for professional organiser and TV presenter Dilly Carter (Sort Your Life Out), styling her space around an Animal Print Bugsby sofa and taking inspiration from her iconic leopard-print ceiling. The result? Fearless, fun, and truly roarsome.
October brought another unforgettable highlight as we styled Gemma Collins’ living room, making Georgina’s year in the process. Gemma was an absolute joy to work with, and we fully embraced her signature pink-and-leopard maximalist style, complete with a cerise pink Albert, of course, as the ultimate statement piece.
Behind the scenes, our team continued to grow. In September, we welcomed our friend Richard, familiar from Rich House, Poor House, who has been a fantastic addition to our logistics team. We also expanded to a team of 35, welcoming new faces to our showroom, logistics and customer service, it’s been wonderful to see the business grow with such brilliant people on board.
And to round off the year, some huge news: we’re expanding with the purchase of a second site, with more information coming this spring. Our growth this year has been driven by staying true to what we do best, striving to always offer great value, genuine personal service, and fabulous, one-of-a-kind pieces, even during challenging economic times. None of it would be possible without you, our customers, and we’re truly grateful to each and every one of you for your continued support.
