- Handmade using traditional methods
The amazing thing about the Tetrad Oskar sofa is that it’s made using traditional methods and craftsmanship that otherwise would have been lost. Each piece is meticulously made by three brothers – Joe, Jim, and John – fourth-generation Chesterfield specialists who’ve been handed those skills from father to son. Every frame is handmade by the brothers, every button is handpulled, and each piece is lovingly sewn. The result? An exquisite sofa of exceptional quality, durability, and real character.
- Exceptionally deep comfort
The Tetrad Oskar is the deepest sofa we stock. While normal sofas are only about 90 to 95cm in depth, Oskar is 106cm deep, truly demonstrating its grandeur. This extra depth gives you all the space you need to curl up and relax in, while the back is just low enough to swing your arm over. Then, the arm falls away elegantly so you can simply recline over it. If you’re looking for an upright sofa, this is not it. Instead, it’s more of a slouchy, comfort sofa.

Every Tetrad leather sofa is upholstered in the most sumptuous, buttery, full-grain aniline buffalo hide that’s warmer than you’d expect. Dyed exclusively with soluble dyes, this allows the natural surface to show through and develop a beautiful patina over time – making each piece of leather unique, with distinct attributes such as shade, grain variation, and natural markings that continue to grow more and more one-of-a-kind.
